Pocklingtons

The Pocklington business was started in 1953 and there followed the acquisition of the Renault franchise in 1961. During the 50+ year history there have been

premises in various Lincolnshire towns and villages, the Pocklington family

involvement ended when Carl Anstice and Michael Loveday purchased the

Company. Today there is one purpose built Renault Main Dealership in a prime

position in Lincolnshire providing a high standard of care to a large, loyal

Customer base.

Below there are two pictures showing the early years of our Company. The first shows a 1950's shot of the Saltfleetby (East of Louth) site, petrol pumps in place, but not a Renault in sight! The second picture shows the same garage some 15 years later, by then an established Renault Dealership, with large workshop added to the rear, and Renault 4, 8 and 16's on display.
